USA vs Poland : FIVB Volleyball World League 2013

For the first time ever, the 2013 FIVB World League will see an increase in the number of participants from 16 to 18 teams, divided into three groups of six in the preliminary round.

Pools A and B will feature the top 12 teams in the world, while pool C will consist of the next best four in addition to Egypt and Japan. The Final Round, to be played July 17-21 in Mar del Plata, Argentina, will feature the top three teams from pools A and B, the winner of pool C and the host nation.

The U.S. Men's National Team finished second in the 2012 World League. It won the event in 2008 and finished third in 2007 and 1992.

In 2013, the U.S. Men will host Argentina, France and Bulgaria in the United States and will travel to Poland and Brazil to play those teams.

Wimbledon men's Semi-Finals : Jerzy Janowicz vs. Andy Murray

This battle shouldn't be quite as hotly contested, but then again, all the pressure is on Murray to pull through for the home crowd.
Murray has looked up to the task thus far, and didn't panic—at least externally—when he trailed Fernando Verdasco by two sets in the quarterfinals before rallying to advance.

When we look back on this year's Wimbledon tournament, the emergence of Jerzy Janowicz as the next generation's first Grand Slam contender may be the biggest story. The 22-year-old Polish phenom has been on fire throughout the tournament.

Austin Aries and the X Division Championship

While many fans have been critical of the way TNA has booked its programming over the last several months, the swerve featuring Austin Aries becoming Suicide and winning the X Division title just weeks before he will likely cash it in for a world title shot is flat-out amazing.

This was a well-written storyline that has many fans excited for what could be next, but this angle was a success because of the man under the mask. If it wasn’t for Aries’ ability to sell the fans on his title win and his reveal as Suicide, the Destination X edition of Impact wouldn’t have the aura surrounding it that it currently does.
